This power extension cord features 14 AWG wire suitable for high power connections, making it a reliable solution for large server applications that require a higher-rated, heavier-gauge cable. The P018-E06 is designed for higher-temperature devices, such as PoE (Power over Ethernet) switches with high-wattage power supplies, and similar network components. The six-foot (1.8-meter) length helps reduce cable clutter by providing a tailor-made fit between the device and the PDU in a crowded rack enclosure.

Forms a Special Locking Connection with a P-Lock Outlet

The P-Lock C14 connector forms a secure connection with a PDU with a P-Lock outlet, including Eaton G4 and newer PDUs with C13 and C39 outlets. The P-Lock connection helps reduce costly downtime caused by accidental cable disconnections in a crowded rack or PDU space. The P018-E06 lets you replace a non-locking C14/C15 cable or upgrade an entire PDU application by pairing with an Eaton PDU or other PDU with P-Lock outlets.
